The ground lies to the north-east of London and is situated within the area bounded by the M25 motorway. Therefore from whichever part of the country outside of this area you travel, you should make for the M25.
Leave the M25 motorway at Junction 26, the Waltham Abbey turnoff and join the A121 road towards Loughton.
Follow the road through Epping Forest until you reach the “Old Orleans” roundabout and take the third exit to Loughton.
Leave the A121 at the second of two mini roundabouts at Rectory Lane and then travel the length of this road which is just under 2 miles to meet the A113 Chigwell Road at a T junction with mini-roundabout.
Turn right and continue along this road for about 2 miles going straight across four more mini roundabouts and passing Chigwell Tube Station and Chigwell Golf Club on the left.
At the brow of the hill, turn right at the signboard on lamppost opposite into Luxborough Lane and continue down the road over a motorway bridge and the clubhouse and grounds are on the right hand side.
