Venue Specific Details
At OLHC, we are evolving plans and gradually opening up facilities at the Club , currently they are limited , the pitches are the main area of access .
Rule of 6 applies outdoors and all spectators should observe social distancing at all times.
Face masks must be worn in the clubhouse.
Pitch Access Plan
Green Pitch
The green pitch is STRICTLY closed on match days. It is for use only to exit from Pitch 2 as part of the one way.
Changing Rooms and Toilets.
Currently there are no changing rooms or showers available , however Ladies and Mens Toilets are open.
Bar and Refreshments.
The bar is open for table service only. No mixing of households indoors. Please sign in with the NHS QR code and wear facemask unless seated. No takeaway or queuing at the bar.
A substantial meal will be available if you wish to order alcohol.
Contact less payments only.
Dugouts & Pitch side.
Dugouts will be open but Social Distancing must be observed, as when not directly involved in a game, during team talks and coaching.
Spectators
Q: How does the new Government rule of 6 impact hockey off the pitch?
A: Off the pitch participants must remain in socially distanced (2m) groups of no more than 6 people. Each group must be clearly separate from another and not mix. This includes whilst waiting to access the pitch, after you have finished your session/match and left the pitch or in the clubhouse pre or post the session/match.
Spectators need to register, upon arrival - with the NHS QR Code or via the written register. As players are deemed spectators when not within the pitch all over 16s (participants and spectators) should register on arrival.
Visting Teams
In addition to the advice above, please note
- Ensure that all participants (players. coaches, managers, physio etc.) have completed a Participation Agreement
- Forward your attendance register to your club Covid Officer for forwarding to EH Track and Trace.
- Ensure your participants have performed a self-screen health assessment before leaving home.
- The bar may is open for drinks and snacks (please see bar guidelines) but we are unable to provide post-match teas at present.
