Development Plan

The Club's five year Development Plan reflects both the ethos and aspirations  of the Club and addresses the aims and challenges identified.

The Development Plan (incorporating a SWAT Analysis and supported by a rolling Action Plan) is intended to be an evolving document and the members of the management committee would welcome ongoing feedback on the plan itself and its implementation.

The Club is the combination of all of its members and relies on the invaluable  contributions of all of its volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer to help in any way please let any member of the management committee know.

The key elements of the Development Plan are as follows.

Ambition

Promotion for the M1s into the new South Division of the National League and ultimatley back into the Premier League.

Consolidation for the W1s this season followed by promotion back into the National League.

Continued Success

Building on the success of the Club's Colt and Mini sections and continuing  to contest and win County, Regional and National competitions both indoors and outdoors.

A Club for all

Continuing to cater for hockey for all age groups from Minis to Supervets and for all standards from beginner and Back to Hockey to elite National League.

A Club with a home

Continuing to be a Club with a home and to provide members with the excellent facilities we enjoy at Luxborough Lane and a Club of members working for each other for the long term rather than a business offering its wares to those shopping for what they can get rather than what they can contribute.

Fund for the future

Build towards the future by creating a fighting fund to cover the anticipated costs of replacing and renovating pitches, floodlights and other facilities.

Welcome home

Seek to find additional financial support to cover ongoing and anticipated costs, fund top quality coaching and to enable the Club to entice back its returning talent and new recruits.

Sponsorship We are very fortunate to benefit from the generous support of Higgins Group Plc. Higgins Group Plc is one of the largest family-owned construction companies in South East England. It was formed as the parent company of the Higgins Group of Companies in 1989. The Higgins Group moved to their prestigious new offices at One, Langston Road in May 2005. http://www.higgins-group.co.uk/ The development and success of the club would not have been possible without the long term and continuing commitment of the company to our club as its principal sponsor.

Could you sponsor or support Old Loughtonians Hockey Club?

It is important that the club continues to attract additional support and sponsorship. We welcome all levels of support and potential bespoke packages are available to interested parties. Support and sponsorship can range from pitchside boards (on either of our pitches) to individual team deals. We welcome local sponsors in particular as well as national and international sponsors especially those with an interest in hockey.

Members introducing sponsors to the club (or sponsoring players or the club themselves) will benefit from free annual membership themselves. Please contact our President Richard Higgins or the club office for more information or with any proposal.
