Welcome to Old Loughtonians website, in particular, if you looking for more information about the Mens Section. We currently run 10 adult mens sides. Our 1st team play in the Slazenger England Hockey Division One which is the second highest league in English Hockey. The majority of other teams play in the Higgins Group London League. Our 2nd XI are in the Premier League and we are represented throughout the leagues including the Supervets. We have two youth development teams also playing in the Higgins Group London Leagues with a scattering of wiser heads.
For those looking for a more sociable game or a return to hockey for the first time in 20 years our Woodsmen team keeps up our association with the East and plays league hockey there.
We also have a thriving youth section which helps to feed all of our men’s teams and these are described in further detail in the Colts section.

Honours:
Last year, the men's league teams came third in the Watson Bowl, the premier prize for the Higgins Group London Hockey League which was a fantastic achievement. This was particularly due to the 3rd XI and Academy sides winning their leagues and gaining promotion but strong performances were also put in by the 2nd XI, Foresters, 5ths and Supervets B team. The Loppers achieved their highest league position to date and the Gunners returned to league hockey with a strong performance. A clean sweep was achieved in the indoor competitions with the 1st XI winning the National Indoor League Division One and returning to the Premier League, whilst a clean sweep of the Essex indoor leagues was also achieved.
