Academy v Saffron Walden

With the Academy losing players to 3rds and long term injuries, there was a need to reshuffle the pack in order to keep the team’s 100% record.  Four goals to Archie being the highlight!

Ladies results

A near perfect weekend of results for the ladies saw a 6-pointer weekend for L1 and points for L4 and L5. 

L1 started the weekend as they meant to complete it with 2 quick goals from Grace kicking off a game that they closed out 5-0 win v Ashford (2 more goals from Grace and 1 from Chloe), see

Saturday’s win set L1 in a positive mood for Sunday’s clash with top of league Maidstone. Faye’s goal secured them a 1-0 win and 6 points from the weekend, see

L3 went 1-0 up in their game with a fantastic move ending in a goal from Leigh but a last minutes short corner gave Wapping 5s a 2-1 win,

L4 enjoyed the last minute of their game, with Amy grabbing a goal in the last 20 seconds to claim a 1-0 win v Brentwood,

L5 grabbed 3 points and a 5-0 win when Redbridge 3s were unable to field a team so conceded.

Support and sponsorship can range from pitchside boards (on either of our pitches) to individual team deals. We welcome local sponsors in particular as well as national and international sponsors especially those with an interest in hockey.
