16.12.09 - TOUGH START FOR MENS 1STs IN INDOOR LEAGUE:
A disappointing 5-2 defeat by Harleston Magpies and a 6-4 loss to Reading on the first day of the EH National Indoor Premier League last Saturday left the Mens 1sts in seventh place in the league. Sunday didn’t offer much more comfort with a 11-5 loss to East Grinstead but the Men finally got a vital three points in their last match of the weekend with a 10-5 win over Havant. However this did not improve their league position and only four wins in the second weekend of play in January will see them with any opportunity to book themselves a place at the Indoor Finals.
