16.12.09 - U16s TAKE MILTON KEYNES BY STORM:
Following their success indoors, the U16s went to Milton Keynes to play their Mercian League outdoor match on Sunday and found the transition very easy as they won this match 11-0. For the time being this puts them top of the Mercian League U16 North East Division.
Also in the Mercian League the U14s played Bromley & Beckenham where, despite previous successes in the EH Regional Cup, their sternest test was likely to occur. The team welcomed back James Albery, Daniel Samuel and Tim Coupe and re-established last seasons National U13 Champions. As such, despite a slow start, the team gradually overcame B&B and registered an 8-1 win with 3 goals from Andrew Macgregor and 1 each from Albert Padfield, Jamie Colton, Rory Patterson, James Albery and Conor Caplan.
