16.02.10 - U18 BOYS REACH QUARTER FINAL OF EH CUP:
The U18 boys cruised into the quarter final of the EH Cup by beating City of Peterborough U18s 8-0 at home on Sunday. Following a sluggish start which perhaps is understandable following their success in the indoor competition the lads finally managed to take the lead with two goals from Tom Wilson in quick succession. A further goal by Adam Miller secured a 3-0 lead at half time from which the team never looked back. Further goals came from George Lilley and following an incredible individual run from Adam Miller Michael McMahon found himself in the right position just to nick the goal. 5-0 turned to 6-0 with a goal from Duncan Tarrant and the final two goals came towards the end of the game from Sam Spencer and Liam Peoples. The quarter final tie will be against Reading at Luxborough Lane on Sunday 7th March.
