10.03.10 - U12 GIRLS WIN ALLIANCE LEAGUE U13 FIXTURE!:
On Sunday at Felsted School the U12 girls squad were entered into the Alliance League fixture against U13 teams from Saffron Walden and Blue Hornets. The squad averaged 1 and half years younger than their opposition due to their preparations for the forthcoming Essex Championships. With a challenging first half against Saffron Walden they saw themselves 2-0 up at the break. The second half saw some great hockey and they continued their success by scoring another 4 goals, winning 6-0 overall. Their second game against Blue Hornets provided them with 6 goals in both halves to win by a convincing 12-0 by the end of the game. Congratulations to Emma Albery who played her first game with the U12 squad having come up from the U11s and the rest of the squad who played some fantastic hockey: Alisha Evans, Chloe Joarder, Ella Day, Hannah Leiper, Lucy Price, Megan Brooks, Megan Wells and Monica Johal.
