11.05.10 - MINIS STORM ALLIANCE LEAGUE – again!:
Congratulations to everyone in the club’s mini section on another fine season. In a difficult year where the poor weather and challenging times had such an impact it demonstrates that their volunteer based mini hockey system continues to produce results enabling the children to reach their potential and hopefully have some good fun along the way. Of the five age groups three won Essex titles; three EH East Finals and two have made EH National finals. Provided they continue to attract new and committed parents there is no reason why the success shouldn’t continue. Well done to all! If anyone would wish to offer their help in any way going forward or have their say please come along after mini hockey on June 5th for an end of season (short) meeting or just get in touch with Ian Padfield. They require volunteers to undertake a number of roles e.g: medical/first aid, register, admin, coaching, assisting, kit cupboard, gk coordinator, parent club liaison, mini coordinator - no experience required and training given…!
