02.06.10 - END OF SEASON BALL AND FITF
What a great way to finish a successful season. On Saturday 22nd May the Club was the venue for the End of Season Ball. A great time was had by all who attended and many thanks goes to Georgina Stoney and Lisa Jackson who put so much time and effort in to ensure that everyone had a fantastic evening once again this year.
Not to be outdone Chris Ross and the whole of the FITF organising committee ensured another hugely successful tournament at the club over the bank holiday weekend. With teams travelling from all over the country the festivities started on Friday and continued right through the weekend to Monday. Not daunted by the dull weather the organisers had hockey going on during the day and a variety of entertainment each evening that continued well into the small hours of the morning. Many thanks goes to Chris and all of the organisers, Heather and all the bar staff and Lester whose efforts ensured the weekend went off so well.
