Men's 1st Team
The Men's first team won the East Premier division in 2017 and was promoted back into the East conference of the National League. The team secured the championship in fine style in front of a large crowd on President's Day http://www.ilfordrecorder.co.uk/sport/champion-old-loughts-seal-national-league-return-1-4948443. It was an exciting game.
Almost all of the team had played at National League level before and started the 2017/18 season in style with two wins but by the end of the first half of fixtures had not added to those first 6 points. A resurgence in the second half of the season culminated in a win against West Herts on the final day of the season again on President's Day. This is the first season for many years that the team promoted from the East Prem as champions did not return immediately and the team is looking forward to consolidating its position in the National League in 2018/19.
The team looks forwarded to welcoming back a number of players from university for next season. Anyone interested in joining the team is very welcome to join the summer league squad and meet the team.
